Reception

Barnsbury Primary School and Nursery is a two form intake (i.e. two classes of 30 children start in reception each year). 

Applications for Reception pupils for September 2024 should be made directly with Surrey County Council School Admissions on 0300 200 1004 week days after 2pm. or by following the link below

Our selection criteria is the standard for most Surrey Schools and is in the following order:

  1. Looked after children and previously looked after children
  2. Exceptional social/medical needs
  3. Children of Staff
  4. Siblings
  5. Children for whom the school is the nearest to their home
  6. Others

Open Days for Reception Intake 2024

Our Open Days for children due to start Reception in September 2024 will take place during the Autumn term 2023.

We welcome applications directly for children to join our school in Years R-6, by completing this form, In Year Application to School

We invite all prospective parents to visit the school and meet with Mrs Jo Harrup our Head teacher.
