Welcome from the Headteacher
A very warm welcome to Barnsbury Primary School and Nursery’s website. I hope it gives you an insight into our wonderful school community, our values, curriculum and ethos. We aim to provide our children with the very best educational experiences and opportunities so that they thrive and flourish, developing as individuals academically, socially and emotionally.
Our inspiring, values led curriculum engages our children and develops a love of learning. We endeavor to ensure all of our children’s needs are met, in order for them to progress across the primary curriculum, so they are fully prepared for the next stage of their education when they leave us at the end of Year 6.
Our team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff set high expectations, striving to ensure all of our children reach their potential in a broad range of curriculum areas. Our topic-based curriculum ensures that learning experiences are relevant, fun and inspiring for the children. We take our learning outside as much as possible and make full use of our wonderful grounds and natural resources.
