Year 4 Hampton Court Trip
Year 4 started off the term with such an exciting trip to Hampton Court Palace. Everyone was fascinated with both the architecture and the stories we heard about how King Henry VIII lived. We were lucky enough to
re-enact an historical joust between Henry and Charles Brandon. English has seen children develop their writing skills, producing a recount of the day. Maths has also linked well with our
Tudor topic encouraging children to apply their understanding of addition and subtraction to Tudor based
problems.
